Spring is my favorite season. I am so looking forward to storing my boots away and shedding all of those winter layers. I'm getting a little head start on transforming my wardrobe for the season.
I started with these Levi bell bottoms. I had thrifted them for 75 cents a few tears back. They weren't particularly cute, but they were cheap and the size was right. Throughout the cold weather months, I had only worn them tucked in boots, to hide the fraying and bells. With the first smell of spring, I chose to retire the pants and keep them as shorts.
Here are the simple steps:
1. start with an unloved pair of jeans - thrifted, faded, torn, short
2. turn inside out
3. cut the first leg diagonally - be sure to leave enough room to roll them
4. match the cut piece to the second leg and cut similarly
5. turn them right side out
6. roll each leg up 1" and again if desired
And there you have it. Now grab your bikinis, sun block and head to the beach!

I have always wanted to know how to do this! I have tried so many times with disastrous consequences :) Thank you so much for sharing this :).
