Seriously, people. This couldn't be any easier - or cheaper! Many local grocery stores have strawberries on sale for Valentine's Day. (We got two packs for the price of one). For everything else, I rummaged through my kitchen cabinets.
Melt milk chocolate chips (or bars, whatever you have) for about a minute and a half. Then, dip! After meeting the berries and chocolate, add the goodies. I decorated with coconut shavings, chopped pecans and leftover holiday sprinkles. Mini marshmallows, graham cracker or cookie crumbs would also add a nice touch. Make a box of these for you "someone special" in less than fifteen minutes. Please, don't spend $30 on romantic goodies when you can make them yourself!
